America’s thoughts on Trump…

Honestly, folks aren’t buying what they’re selling—approval’s tanking, and people are fed up. Even hardcore supporters are starting to side-eye what’s happening.

Epstein files

Let’s call it—almost 70% of us (yes, even a lot of Republicans!) think the Trump team is hiding something. Basically nobody’s impressed with how they’re handling it. Enough with the secrets; sunlight’s the best disinfectant.

Economy update

Most Americans feel like their finances are headed the wrong way. Republicans are a bit more hopeful about the future, but even they’re worried right now. Democrats aren’t buying the “all is well” message. Hard to celebrate new stock market highs when your grocery bill keeps going up, right?

Tariffs

Across the board? People don’t love them. Folks on both sides are worried tariffs are hitting small businesses and our wallets—kind of tired of paying more for less.

Deportations/immigration

Mass deportations are not landing well anymore. Half the country thinks things have gone too far and too many harmless people are getting swept up. There’s a real divide here, but support is dropping.

Market vibes

Stock market looks strong on paper—new highs, yes. But everyone’s bracing for a possible shakeup. There’s just way too much volatility to get comfortable.

All in all? Feels like we’re all waiting for the other shoe to drop. Can we please get some real solutions for regular people? I’ve had enough of political theater—let’s fix what needs fixing.

What is going on behind the Epstein Drama?

While everyone’s screaming about Epstein, a ton of real issues that matter to us regular folks are getting swept under the rug.

- Cost of living? Still going up. Wages can’t keep up with what you pay at the grocery store or just to keep a roof over your head.

- The government’s making BIG policy moves—energy, border stuff, AI investments—and nobody’s really talking about them because it’s all Epstein, all the time.

- World’s on fire: Major crises in Gaza, Ukraine, everywhere… but the White House is only answering questions on conspiracy drama.

- Political mess: MAGA is fighting with itself. Everyone’s blaming everyone else. But how many headlines do you see about that?

- Actual survivors and victims: Folks need real justice and support, not just DC drama or politicians arguing on TV.

- Justice system roulette: Sketchy plea deals and arrests are slipping by—if you’re not rich or famous, good luck getting attention.

- Feels like a distraction ON PURPOSE. The more we argue over “what are they hiding,” the less anyone asks about why rent’s through the roof or why nothing’s getting fixed.

Epstein drama = shiny object. Meanwhile, the real issues—the stuff that hits you in the wallet, the community, your own life—get buried and ignored. And honestly, that’s the way some folks in power like it. Time to pay attention to the stuff that actually matters.

Redskins and Indians…Trump’s Nonsense

So now Trump is threatening to block the Commanders’ new stadium deal unless the team goes back to the “Redskins” name, and he wants Cleveland to bring back “Indians” too. Suddenly, it’s all about “tradition” and claiming he’s listening to Native Americans. Funny thing: go look up his own post from 2013—he literally said the president shouldn’t get involved with team names and should focus on real problems.

Wild how the rules change once you’re the one in power. Both teams already said they’re not going back. Feels like another culture war distraction instead of, I dunno, dealing with the stuff that actually impacts our lives. Here’s a thought: maybe fix the real issues instead of picking fights over mascots?

Texas Gerrymandering

Alright, let’s talk about what’s flying under the radar in Texas: Lawmakers called a special session—supposed to be all about helping flood victims. But surprise: they’re also using this crisis to redraw congressional districts, basically to guarantee more Republican seats because Trump said so.

Let’s call this what it is—a power grab. This isn’t even the usual every-ten-years redistricting; they want to change the rules right in the middle of the game. If you think politicians should NOT be hand-picking their voters, you should be fired up. They’re literally trying to block communities (especially minorities and city folks) from having a real say, while disaster victims are just left waiting for help.

What makes it worse? This kind of move—mixing disaster relief with sneaky political map-rigging—makes everybody more cynical, and you can bet other states are watching, ready to copy-paste if it works. That’s how democracy erodes. And when the lawsuits start flying (because you know they will), the real urgent stuff—flood recovery, support for families—gets shoved to the side so politicians can chase more power.

Our neighbors need help, not another round of backroom dealing. If we let leaders use emergencies to lock in their own control, everyone loses—doesn’t matter what party you like. Can we PLEASE focus on people, not just on politicians keeping their jobs?

Gaza and Ukraine this weekend

Two different war zones, same sickening pattern—innocent people getting killed while just trying to survive.

Gaza

- Over 70 people died simply trying to get food. They were at aid spots, desperate for flour and basics, and ended up getting shot or trampled when violence broke out. Hunger plus chaos = tragedy.

- This isn’t some rare event—hundreds more have died in the last month, either from bombs or actual starvation. The whole region’s at a breaking point while the rest of the world mostly argues or looks away.

Ukraine

- Russian drone and missile attacks lit up cities all weekend. Civilian apartments set on fire, people killed—just regular folks getting caught by bombs in the middle of the night.

- The fighting is constant: more shelling, more deaths near crucial towns and roads. Exact numbers are hard to get, but the stories coming out are all pain and loss.

It doesn’t matter where you live—Gaza or Ukraine—war always hits the most vulnerable the hardest. People are dying for food in one place, and for just living in the wrong building in another. We can’t let this turn into background noise. Every number is a family, a future, a life wrecked by power games and endless violence.

Can we please stop normalizing this level of suffering? It’s time to demand more—louder, together—so this news actually MEANS something, not just another headline we scroll past.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Buckle up—looks like another week with absolute chaos at the top. So many of us are flat-out exhausted and keep asking, “How could this possibly get worse?” But honestly, it probably will. Don’t give up, though. This doesn’t feel like the America we know, but we still have a voice—let’s fight for it.
